NW Driver of the Month
Each month we will feature a driver that participates in the NW Gold Cup Regional race Series. These drivers are up and coming new talent that we will be featuring on our site. If you would like to submit a bio and photos to be a featured driver in 2012 please submit your information to Bill Hettick. A driver will be selected monthly at random to be featured on our site.

What got me into racing?
When I was about 4 years old, my brother started working at Sykart Indoor Racing. He drove me around in a two seater a few times and I quickly fell in love. The adrenaline was a great rush and I knew that I never wanted to give it up. About 3 months later I was invited to go watch an outdoor karting event called the SKUSA Summer nationals at Pat's Acres. When i arrived at the track, I felt at home with this atmosphere and knew I belonged. I enjoyed watching racing that day, as the karts zoomed by I had a smile on my face. I drove my first kart about a year and a half later at Sykart. I quickly learned to drive and soon moved to outdoor karting. It took me a while to learn the ropes and I was soon running at the front of the grid on a sodikart.
